2. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products through shop.bellcasolino.eu to consumers, as defined by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005), and, where applicable, to professional customers. By placing an order on this website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
3. Products, Pricing & Availability
- Product descriptions, ingredients, nutritional values, allergen information, and images are provided on product pages and labels. Images are illustrative and may not perfectly represent the final product.
- Prices are expressed in EUR and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before order confirmation.
- As our products are handcrafted and derived from agricultural processes, natural variations in color, taste, texture, weight, or appearance may occur and do not constitute defects.
- Availability is subject to harvest yields, seasonality, and raw material supply. In case of unavailability after purchase, we will notify you and refund any amount paid.
4. Food Products & Safety
The products sold on this website are food products intended for human consumption and are produced in compliance with applicable Italian and EU food safety regulations.
Customers are responsible for carefully reading product labels, ingredient lists, allergen information, storage instructions, and best-before or expiry dates before consumption.
The seller shall not be liable for adverse effects resulting from failure to follow storage instructions, improper use, consumption after the indicated date, or individual allergies or intolerances.
5. Orders & Contract Formation
The purchase process includes product selection, cart review, entry of billing/shipping details, selection of shipping and payment methods, and order confirmation. The sales contract is concluded when the order confirmation email is sent. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in case of errors, unavailability, payment issues, or suspected fraud. Any amounts paid will be refunded.
6. Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods may include credit/debit cards, PayPal, and any other methods made available at checkout. Payment must be completed before shipment. Where applicable, invoices are issued upon request and according to legal requirements.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Information. Delivery times are indicative and may vary due to courier operations, peak seasons, customs procedures, or force majeure. Risk passes to the customer upon delivery. Customers are advised to inspect parcels upon receipt.
For shipments outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
8. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from delivery, in accordance with Articles 52–59 of the Italian Consumer Code. A withdrawal statement may be sent by email.
Exceptions include perishable goods, goods liable to deteriorate rapidly, sealed goods unsealed after delivery for hygiene reasons (including sealed food products once unsealed), customized products, and other cases provided by Article 59.
9. Returns & Refunds
If you wish to return an item, please contact us at [email protected] indicating your order number and the reason for the request. Where the right of withdrawal applies, products must be returned unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method after verification of the returned goods and in accordance with applicable law.
10. Legal Warranty of Conformity
Consumers are entitled to the legal warranty of conformity under Articles 128–135 of the Italian Consumer Code. Defects must be reported within two months of discovery. For professional customers, the Italian Civil Code applies.
11. Liability & Force Majeure
The seller shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by events of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, crop failure, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, strikes, or governmental measures.
To the extent permitted by law, the seller shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential losses, or loss of profit.
The seller shall not be liable for damages arising from improper use, incorrect storage, or consumption of products in a manner inconsistent with provided instructions.

Any information provided on this website regarding ingredients, traditional uses, or characteristics of food products is for informational purposes only.
